Sports Investor Central

Martin Agnes

I have been handicapping MLB baseball and betting my own selections since 2003, developing a disciplined and methodical approach to sports investing over the years. Before transitioning into sports handicapping, I spent 27 years working as a corporate accountant, where I built a strong foundation in financial analysis, risk management, and disciplined decision-making. As I approached retirement, I turned to sports betting as a way to supplement my income and apply those same analytical skills in a competitive environment.

MLB is one of the most challenging sports to wager on consistently, but it also presents countless opportunities for disciplined bettors who know how to identify weak lines and betting value. Baseball’s long season, daily matchups, and constantly changing variables create situations where sportsbooks can occasionally misprice games — and that’s where careful research and experience can provide an edge.

My goal each season is to maintain at least a 55% winning percentage, a benchmark that can generate strong long-term returns for disciplined bettors. I’ll be releasing my daily MLB selections through Sports Investor Central and look forward to helping members navigate the baseball season with smart, research-driven picks and a professional approach to sports investing.
